Heather & Mike: The One that Got Away Review

Heather & Mike: The One that Got Away
(Echoes of the Heart Book 1)

By: Jean Joachim

Length: 64 pages

Rating: 5 STARS

Review: OMG, what can I say. This is a wonderful love story. Jean has taken two characters and brought them to life in ways I never knew could happen. I laughed, cried and got angry. Her words written gave me hope that true love is not just a fantasy or fairytale. It's real and with Mike and Heather all you wanted to do was have them together. Two people that never gave up on finding one another. Mike and Heather have a history but past transgressions have kept them apart for 5 years. Both have moved on and are soon to be engaged to others. Does true love conquer all? Will Mike and Heather find each other before its too late? Will they both go their separate ways and never find out if what they felt all those years ago was TRUE LOVE?

BLURB:
Mike Sullivan’s dating Amy, the perfect woman. Everyone says so, even his best friend, Bill. Amy urges him to move in.

To Mike, living together means getting engaged. He’d picked out the ring and was ready to pop the question, or was he?

If Amy was the one why couldn’t Mike forget Heather? He’d spent a magical ten days with her on Fire Island, ten days that changed his life. Then he’d screwed it up. As quickly as she entered his life, Heather disappeared, blocking his calls, and leaving him bereft.

That was five years ago. Why couldn’t he accept that fact that he’d never see her again and move on? On the verge of taking the big step, Mike gets a second chance. Will he take it?

Pre-Order New Series

Love. The emotion of fools.

Riding high on the success of his band, Iron Rogue, Noah King doesn’t need anyone much less a nosey reporter from Rock Band News, sticking her gorgeous body where it doesn’t belong. His privacy is one of the most important things in his life, and something he protects with an iron fist. How did his most guarded secret manage to be front page news?

Tori Richmond needed a story. If she broke the silence on the lyrics of Dare to Love, she’d be set and her career would be in the bag. The sexy as sin, tight lipped leader of Iron Rogue wasn’t about to give her any information, no matter what she promised him. Giving into the sexual chemistry seething between them was the wrong thing to do. She’d be just another woman in the long list of women who’d been between the sheets with Noah King, but nothing was more important than the story.

Nothing.

***Contains hot rock stars, a reporter who takes no crap, and two people finding love in the most unlikely place***
